Here’s why I’m Running.

Ten years ago, I became the single parent of a special needs child. I was trying to access community resources, understand my child’s needs, and navigate domestic violence recovery. That experience led me to understand how critical accessible community resources are to people like me. Not everyone’s story is the same, but I believe that everyone is united in our desire to help members of their community.

Since then, I met and married my husband, an active-duty Air Force officer, built a successful career in the arts, and became a community activist. I am thankful for the opportunities I had - but I want to make sure that everyone has the chance to access those same opportunities. We need leaders who are able to help with everyday concerns, who will support families and small businesses, and who will put our community first. I’m running to bring those values to the Roy City Council. I hope you’ll support my campaign and join me in building a stronger community here in Roy.
